COMPENSATION

Annual Salary Range: $154,021 – $196,574

Rosamond Community Services District (RCSD) is seeking a qualified and motivated
professional to serve as Assistant General Manager.

This is a full-time, FLSA-exempt position offering a competitive salary and comprehensivebenefits package.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR I JOB DESCRIPTION

 

JOB SUMMARY

• Under direction, performs a variety of skilled or semi-skilled technical duties in the operations and maintenance of a water reclamation plant.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

• One year of experience performing maintenance and routine operational duties in a wastewater treatment facility is required.
• Must be available to respond within 1 hour when assigned stand-by duties.

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; supplemental college coursework in chemistry or environmental science is desirable but not required.

Licenses and Certificates:

•  Valid Grade I Wastewater Treatment Certificate issued from the California State Water Resources Control Board. May be required to obtain a higher grade as job requires.
• Valid Class C driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

SALARY RANGE

• $39.34 - $50.34
